What makes us different?

Swim With Phyn, is a small owner-operated swim school. We have only one lesson happening at a time in our warm, indoor pool. We believe that this makes for the most learning conducive for little ones to learn and feel comfortable in the water. All of our lessons are taught by either Julie or Bridget, so your little one can get to know them and understand what to expect from each lesson. Routine, consistency and an intimate setting.

5826 Hollister Ave, Goleta, 93117

Close to everything Goleta and just down the road from UC Santa Barbara. Swim with Phyn is next door to SB Aquatics and the 7-11 in Old Town Goleta.

Look for the bright orange SIDE door facing the former Epic Motorsports. Note that our door is on the west SIDE of the building. The indoor pool is through the shop, in the back of the building.

Visiting the Pool:

You'll get everything you need to know and more! You can read all the reviews and get a ton of information online, but everyone has their own opinions, priorities and deal-breakers. Email us at info@swimwithphyn.com and let us know what class level you want to visit and we will set that up! The best part? You get to see the facilities AND meet the instructor you will have!! Yay!

If you want to observe a class, email us with the class level (see group lessons page) you would like to observe and we will let you know the available days and times and confirm a specific time so that we know to expect you. Jut send us an email with your child's age, and we will get back to you with options.

If you want to drop by to check out our facilities and/or speak to someone in person without an appointment, please drop by Saturday from 11am - 12:30pm. This is our "open swim" time and you will be able to see the pool and talk to a representative.

Don't forget to review our FAQ's. Most of your questions are probably answered there.

Email (the BEST way to reach us):

We try to get back to you within 72 hours, often it is sooner - sometimes in a few minutes. It depends if we are online or not, open or not, or how complicated your question is and/or whether or not your question requires a double check of someone's availability or a special case.

Registration times are crazy busy, so during those times, please be patient, we are working as fast as possible for you!

Our hours are Monday - Saturday and vary based on when we have lessons. During the week, M-F, most lessons are between 2pm and 7pm. Friday and Saturday we have lessons 8 or 9am-noon. We are closed Sundays.

The best way to reach us is by our contact page or emailing info@swimwithphyn.com.  We are not open the weeks we do not have lessons, so please see the yearly schedule on our homepage.

Please don't call us -We want you to VISIT US!

We know you can find our phone number, but it isn't listed here for a reason. The chances of us answering are very low. If you'd like to talk to us before signing up, VISIT! See the next section!

You want to know why? Well, for starters there are two of us who answer incoming calls and emails. Most of our time is spent in the pool, or watching the pool, the rest is spent answering emails in a timely manner or managing registration and making sure that this website has most, if not all, the information you need. Phone calls take up WAY more time than we can afford. See this article if you have any questions about that.

And, if you are one of those people that absolutely must talk to us to make sure we are real before you sign your baby up - VISIT!

Pool Info:

The pool is indoor and kept at, or very near, 92 degrees. This makes it more comfortable and also more fun on rainy days and in the evenings, it also has the added benefit of complete UV protection - no sunscreen needed during lessons!

The chlorine level is kept as low as possible, monitored and adjusted mutiple times per day, to make it easier on little eyes.

The play area makes it easy to entertain before, (siblings) during and after swim lessons. However, remember siblings need to be supervised.

Parking is typically available on the street. Across the street, at the Community West Bank parking lot, there are now designated PUBLIC parking spots 24/7. This is a great option if you are having a hard time finding street parking.
