SEA OTTERS

For Infants: 2 Weeks - 8 Months Old | 6-7 children per class + a caregiver.

Sea Otters allow the littlest of swimmers to learn, grow, and bond with caregivers. Babies are born with the natural ability to hold their breath and kick - an instinct they lose anywhere from 2 – 8 months, so the earlier they get in the water, the more they can build on that natural ability! Early exposure to water has also been linked to many benefits, such as early walking, stronger immunity, and higher self-esteem. Not to mention an added layer of safety around the water.

Skills covered include: Lorem Ipsum

MANATEES

For Babies: 6 Months - 2 Years Old | 6-7 children per class + a caregiver.

Manatees tend to be a bit older and more animated than the Sea Otters. The class focuses on happy swimmers, teaching caregivers the skills they need to feel comfortable in the water with their child. Reinforcing safety routines while keeping the lesson fun is the main goal of this level. As each child develops, new skills are added to keep the process fun and inviting, making it both a good place for new students to begin learning to swim and a place for Sea Otters to graduate to.

Skills covered include: floating, kicking, submersion, and safety.

HAMMERHEADS

For Advanced Toddlers: 3-4 Years Old | Up to 4 children per class + a caregiver.

Hammerheads are more advanced toddlers who need a bit more than the Manatee class offers. They will continue with basic safety skills and terminology, as well as more advanced ones. All students in this class are returning swimmers of varying skill levels. If you are interested in this level, contact us directly to determine whether your child could benefit from participating in this class.

Skills covered include: floating, submersion, safety, independent swimming, breath-work, and stroke development.

MORAY EELS

For Beginners: 2-4 Years Old | 4-5 children per class + a caregiver

Moray Eels emphasize helping toddlers and young children feel comfortable around water as they learn the basic skills and terminology needed to stay safe. This class will give first-timers the special attention that comes with learning the basic routine practiced with every swimmer from the time they start with Swim With Phyn.

Skills covered include: floating, submersion, safety, independent swimming, breath-work, and stroke development.

STINGRAYS

For Graduates Only: 2-4 Years Old | Up to 4 children per class + a caregiver.

Stingrays are always recent graduates of Sea Turtles or Moray Eels. New students should sign up for a Moray Eel class instead.
